Winn-Dixie Recalls Italian Green Beans for Peanut Contamination

Winn-Dixie stores is voluntarily recalling Winn-Dixie Brand canned Italian Green Beans because of potential for in-shell peanuts mixed in with the beans. The recall is being initiated “out of an abundance of caution” for consumer safety.

There have been no reports of illness in connection with this product. Winn-Dixie has said they are “conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the peanut contamination in order to prevent a similar incident from occurring in the future.”
