Canadian Beef Recall Expands

The Canadian recall of beef products by New Food Classics on February 18, 2012 has expanded. In addition to the recalled lot numbers of Country Morning Beef Burgers and no name Club Pack Beef Steakettes, these products are recalled for possible E. coli contamination. Please note that the distribution area has been expanded to include the North West Territories, Yukon Territories, and Nunavut.

There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of these products. These products were distributed nationally through restaurants and institutional establishments.
