Canadian Food Inspection Agency Recalls Kettleman’s Bagel Cakes

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling several types of Kettleman’s Bagel Company baked goods, manufactured by Solly’s, because they contain undeclared allergens. The cakes may have milk, soy, or sulphites not included on the label.

Canada has nine categories of the most common food allergens, while the United States has eight categories.

If someone with an allergy to these ingredients eats these products, they have experience a serious or life-threatening reaction. There have not been any reports of illness linked to the consumption of these products.

These are the products recalled:

Chocolate Homentashen 375 g Milk, Soy
Poppy Homentashen 375 g Sulphites
Prune Homentashen 375 g Sulphites
