Food Safety Summit In Washington D.C.

There are just three weeks left until the Food Safety Summit April 17-19 2012 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Representatives from the entire food industry spectrum including growers, processors, retailers, distributors, foodservice operators, regulators and academia will attend the conference.

The Exhibit Hall will showcase new products and services from hundreds of companies including E. coli tests, hygiene monitoring, laboratory instruments, pest control, temperature measurement, transportation security and more.

The schedule for Day One includes sessions on training and certification, foodborne illness investigation training and HAACP certification and training. One Day Two sessions include ServSafe training and certification, effective risk communication, interactive media training, best practices andeffective food liability programs. Day Three sessions include minimizing risk, field-to-fork traceability the Food Safety Modernization Act.
