Foster Farms Recalls Corn Dogs for Undeclared Allergen

Foster Farms of Alabama is recalling 16,576 pounds of corn dogs because of misbranding and an allergen, milk, that is not declared on the label. The problem was discovered because of a consumer complaint. The product may have been placed in the wrong package. There have been no reports of illness or allergic reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignageThe recalled item is 2.67 pound, 16-count packages of “Foster Farms Honey Crunchy Corn Dogs”. The products have the establishment number “P-7322” on each box, a use-by date of “July 2, 2013”, and a time stamp between 6:30 and 8:30. The products were made on July 2, 2012, and shipped to retail stores in the southeast United States.

If you have purchased this product and are allergic to milk, return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
