Price Chopper supermarkets are voluntarily recalling two sizes of Tres Leches cakes manufactured by Rich Foods because they may contain plastic fragments. The cakes have been sold in stores since July 10, 2011, but the recall was just announced. Rich Foods recalled sponge cake on January 6, 2012 for the same problem.

- 5-inch cake with UPC number 41735-26013
- 8-inch cake with UPC number 41735-25128
No illness or injuries have been reported in connection with this product, and no consumer has reported finding any fragments. Price Chopper has initiated its Smart Reply notification program to alert consumers who have have purchased this product.
