Creole Bisque Recalled for Undeclared Allergens Wheat, Soy, Milk

Creole & Company, LLC of New Orleans is recalling  3.47 oz ounce packages of Creole Bisque mix for undeclared allergens  milk, soy, and wheat.  People who have allergies to milk, soy, and wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

creole-bisqueThe recalled products were sold in 3.47 oz ounce, clear plastic packages with the UPC 8117766014869. They were distributed in retail stores throughout Louisiana

The recall was issued after it was discovered that product was being distributed in packaging that did not have an ingredient statement. An investigation has revealed that the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes. The company has suspended production and distribution of the product until further notice.

Consumers who have purchased 3.47 ounce packages of Creole Bisque  should not eat it. The product may be returned to the  place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with further questions may contact the company at 225-362-0819, Monday through Friday, 12 AM – 4 PM.
