Earth’s Pride Organic Oregano Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Olde Thompson of California is recalling their organic oregano because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported in relation to the consumption of this product. The problem was discovered during routine sampling of raw ingredients.

The recalled product is Earth’s Pride Organics Organic Oregano in 2.2 ounce glass jars. The UPC code is 400000290942 and it was sold exclusively at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia between January 1, 2013 and July 10, 2013. The lot numbers are 060367, 060692, 061252 and 061864 located on the bottom of the jar.

If you have purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard the product and its container.
