Hannaford Recalls Cookies for Undeclared Nuts

Hannaford Supermarkets is recalling two products sold in the bakery section of their stores because they may contain nuts, one of the major food allergens, that is not listed on the label. The company received a consumer report that the product may contain nuts. Hannaford Supermarkets is based in Maine and operates 181 stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts.

Recall SignageThe cookies are: Hannaford Gourmet Oatmeal Rain Cookies in 9 ounce packages, with UPC numberĀ 0004126872715. The other recalled product is Hannaford Gourmet Cookie Platter, sold in 36 ounce packages, with UPC numberĀ 04126874662.

These products have been removed from store shelves. If you purchased these products and are allergic to nuts, return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. For questions and more information, call the company weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 800-213-9040.
