In Canada, Cookies Recalled for Undeclared Milk and Eggs

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling cookies imported by Tritap Food Brokers for undeclared milk and eggs. This is an expansion of an earlier recall. No illnesses associated with the consumption of these products has been reported to date. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and/or eggs should not eat these products. The cookies were distributed nationally.

The recalled products include Tiffany brand Strawberry Banana Sandwich cookies with UPC number 0 56191 51058 3 and codes P.D.: 09/2012 and E.D.: 03/2014, which contain undeclared milk. Minuet products recalled for undeclared egg include Assorted Sandwich Cream Cookies in 340 gram packages with UPC number 6 61625 77485 3; Coconutter in 96 gram packages with UPC number 6 61625 12896 0; Roundies in 78 gram packages with UPC number 6 61625 86080 8; and Tea Time Biscuits – Plain in 230 gram packages, with UPC number 6 61625 23230 8. Tartlets – Strawberry in 120 gram packages with UPC number 6 61625 22120 3 are recalled for undeclared egg and milk.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk and/or eggs, return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
