Izzy’s Ice Cream Recalled for Possible Glass Fragments

Izzy’s Ice Cream of Minnesota is recalling three flavors of their product after workers found glass fragments in cinnamon used to make the ice cream. The cinnamon was purchased by Izzy’s from a third party. There have been no customer complaints or reports of illness associated with the consumption of these products.

RecallThe ice cream recalled is Soy (Non-Dairy) Pumpkin, Pumpkin, and Cinnamon with lot numbers beginning with 1211 and 1212. It was sold between November 7, 2012 and December 31, 2012 in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area under the Izzy’s brand. The ice cream was sold at grocery stores, restaurants, and Izzy’s Ice Cream Cafe.
