Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Lightlife Foods is recalling a limited number of Lightlife Farmer’s Market Veggie Burgers because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Some of the Veggie Burger packages may have been filled with Black Bean Burgers, which contain milk. The product was shipped to food stores and distributors nationwide.

Anyone who has an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is sold in 12.0-ounce packages, four burgers to the package. The UPC number is 4345480525, Lot Codes are 5483220300 and 5483221700, and best if used by dates are JULY 16, 2013 and JULY 30, 2013.
