Pin Hsiao Recalls Gluten Free Muffins for Undeclared Walnuts

Pin Hsiao and Associates of Washington state is recalling Gluten Free Blueberry Mini Muffins because they may contain undeclared walnuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts could have a serious or life threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The Gluten Free Blueberry Mini Muffins in 12 pack were distributed in Washington and Oregon through retail grocery stores. The product is in a rigid PET plastic locking clamshell with 12 wells. The containers are 9″ x 6.5″ x 2.5″. The product has a dark blue sleeve type label. Net weight is 12.6 ounces, and UPC number isĀ 818703011021. The lot code is 051114, product expiration date is 5/11/14, and last date of distribution was 11/8/13.
