Sweet Spots Candy Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Bee International of California is recalling the candy “Sweet Spots” because it may contain undeclared egg protein, one of the major food allergens. Those with an allergy to egg could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There has been one complaint associated with this problem; a child in North Carolina  had a reaction to the candy.

The candy is in a 2 ounce clear plastic package marked with lot code 2158613 on the back. It has UPC number 0-73563-00471-6. The product is small drops of candy on a backing paper.

The only allergen warning on the package was for soy. The product is made in China. If you purchased this product and are allergic to egg, return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
