Talenti Gelato Recalls Product for Undeclared Pecans

Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto is recalling one of the products because it contains undeclared pecans, one of the major food allergens. No reports of illness have been issues to date.

The recalled product is Talenti Gelato Toasted Almond Gelato with UPC numberĀ 1 86852 00039 6 and best by date of 11/15/2014 M1 on the bottom of the container. The product was sold at 65 retail food stores in Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Anyone allergic to pecans could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. If you are not allergic to pecans, there is no safety issue.
