Terri Lynn Recalls Deluxe Mixed Nuts for Undeclared Peanuts

Terri Lynn of Illinois is recalling 855 packages of its Deluxe Mixed Nuts because they may contain undeclared peanuts. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts who eats this product may have a serious or life-threatening reaction. People can be allergic to peanuts and still be able to eat tree nuts, which include pecans, walnuts, Brazil Nuts, almonds, pistachios, macadamia nuts, and cashews, among others. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The Deluxe Mixed Nuts were shipped to customers of Terri Lynn, Inc. in Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, Florida, Connecticut, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Nebraska, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Alaska. The product was also sold through its outlet store in Elgin, Illinois.

The product was sold in 16 ounce Terri Lynn Green Fund Raising Bags described as “Deluxe Mixed Nuts No Peanuts” with lot code 3180; and 12 ounce Terri Lynn Blue bags described as “Deluxe Mixed Nuts with Macadamias” with a best by date of 12/29/14.
