Thai Peppers Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Fruit Treasure of California is recalling 43 25-pound boxes of fresh Thai Peppers because they may contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The Thai peppers were distributed on April 7, 2013 to April 10, 2013 to retail markets in California. The product comes in a 25 pound white wax box with a logo that says “JAMMIN PEPPERS”. FDA testing found the pathogenic bacteria in some of the boxes. Production of the product is suspended while the FDA investigates to find the source.

If you purchased this product, return to the place of purchase for a refund. For questions, call the company at 619-365-7110 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm PT.
