Comments

  1. I purchased the Weis creamy coleslaw and Weis potato with egg salad for a camping trip we took in early October. I had diarrhea and abdominal cramping for half the camping trip and a couple of days afterwards. I just thought it was maybe the mayonnaise or something was a little too rich for my stomach. The diarrhea and abdominal cramping resolved a few days after we got home and I have had no other symptoms. However, I just got home today and there was a message on my answering machine from Weis stating that these salads are being recalled, it would have been nice to have known sooner, since this article is dated in September and it is now the end of October. I came to this site after the message told me to look here for more information. I am not sure why it took so long to notify the customers.

I’m not happy about this. I have 4 large containers of several of these salads sitting in our fridge right now. We have purchased these products for several years. This type product is not cheap. It appears the customer must take the loss.
