Chippy Corn Chips Recalled for Undeclared Wheat

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and AFOD Ltd, APO Products, Corinthian Distributors, Diwa Products, and Wilby Commercial are recalling Jack ‘N Jill corn chips for undeclared wheat, one of the major food allergens. People with an allergy to wheat or a sensitivity to gluten, such as celiac patients, could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No reactions or illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products.

All codes are recalled where wheat is not declared on the label. The recalled products are Jack ‘N Jill Chippy Barbecue Flavored Corn Chips in 110 gram packages. The UPC number is 4 800016 643095. Also recalled is Chippy brand Barbecue Flavored Corn Chips in 200 gram packages with UPC numbers  4 800016 101069 and 4 800016 771972. Finally, Jack ‘N Jill Chippy brand Barbecue Flavored Corn Chips in 200 gram packages are recalled, with UPC numbers 4 800016 101069 and 4 800016 771972. The products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and possibly nationwide.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to wheat or sensitive to gluten, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
