New Life Nutritional Center is recalling dietary supplements after FDA analysis found that the products contain sibutramine, phenolphthalein or a combination of both. That makes the products unapproved new drugs. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.
The recalled products are Super Fat Burner capsules, Maxi Gold capsules, and Esmeralda softgels. They are packaged in 30 capeuls bottles and used as weight loss supplements. All lots are recalled. They were sold in retail stores in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, and Massachusetts, and through internet sales.
If you purchased any of these products, do not consume them. Discard them or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
