Faluda and Sherbet Drink Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Niru Enterprises are recalling two products because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume either of these products. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products are both Niru brand, in 290 ml containers. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. Sherbet Drink with Jelly has a UPC number of 7 79140 00604 2. Faluda (Rose Flavour Drink) has a UPC number of 7 79140 00578 6. The products were sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not consume them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
