Green Vibrance and Rainbow Vibrance Recalled for Salmonella

New England Greens of Connecticut is recalling 10 lots (53,740 units) of Green Vibrance and Rainbow Vibrance after a former raw material supplier recalled Organic Parsley Leaf Powder for possible Salmonella contamination. There is only a small chance that these products are contaminated, but the recall is being issued out of an abundance of caution. No illnesses associated with these products have been reported to date.

Green Vibrance Salmonella RecallThe lots of Green Vibrance and Rainbow Vibrance were distributed nationwide through brick and mortar and online health food and natural product retailers. They are packaged in white, high density polyethylene canister jars ranging in size from 20 ounce to 51 ounce. One lot of Green Vibrance capsules, 240 per bottle, is also included in the recall. One lot of Green Vibrance single-serving packets is also recalled, in 15 packets per cardboard display box. You can see product photos at the FDA web site.

The codes and lot numbers are: Rainbow Vibrance powder, 177 gram, 30 day with code RV19 and lot number 131193. Green Vibrance Capsules, 240 count is recalled, with code GVC and lot number 1401078. Green Vibrance Single Serving Display with code GVSD and lot number 1040176 is recalled, along with Green Vibrance Powder 363 gram, 30 day with code GV30 and lot numbers 1041083, 1401092, and 1401094. Finally, Green Vibrance powder in 181.5 gram, 15 day packages is recalled, with code GV15 and lot numbers 1041084, 1041086, 1041087, 1041088, and 1041089.

If you purchased these products, do not consume them. Discard in a closed container or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
