In Canada, Brownies Recalled for Undeclared Milk and Wheat

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and The Goody Shop are recalling brownies because they were made with undeclared milk and wheat, two of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or wheat could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. There is no word on whether any reactions have been reported to date.

Recall SignThe recalled product is Goody Shop Brownie Squares. There is no UPC number, and all codes where milk and wheat do not appear on the label are recalled. The brownies were sold in New Brunswick.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk and/or wheat, do not eat it. Discard it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
