In Canada, Chicken Burgers Recalled for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Kent Heritage Farms are recalling chicken burgers because they contain egg, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any allergic reactions have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Chicken Burgers in 2.27 kg. packages. All codes were egg is not declared on the label are recalled. There is no UPC number. The product was sold through direct home sales in Ontario.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
