In Canada, Chocolate Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Altra Foods are recalling dark chocolate from the marketplace because if contains milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.

Chocolat Alprose RecallThe recalled product is Chocolat Alprose 52% Cacao Premium Dark Chocolate in 3.5 ounce (100 gram) size. The UPC number is 6 89423 02503 8 and the code on the product is L030 19BP on the inner foil wrapper. The chocolate was sold in Ontario and Quebec.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or discard it. No illnesses have been reported in association with the consumption of this product to date.
