In Canada, Farquhar’s Salmon Recalled for Possible Botulism

In Canada, Farquhar’s Orchards Fine Foods is recalling salmon products because they may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum toxin. The products were sold in Ontario. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products include Farquhar’s Orchards Fine Foods House Candied Salmon in variable weights. All dates are recalled. The UPC numbers start with 0 204109. Also recalled is House Smoked Salmon, in variable weight packages. All dates are recalled, and the UPC number starts with 0 204108.
