In Canada, McCain Hashbrowns Recalled for Plastic Pieces

mccain-hashbrown-recallMcCain Foods in Canada is recalling McCain brand hashbrowns because they may contain plastic pieces. At the time of the recall, there had been no reported illnesses, but consumers who have purchased this product should not eat it.

The recalled product was sold in Canada in 900g packages marked with the lot code F40822,  Batch Code 1000879725 and the UPC number 0 55773 00080 1.

Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase and can contact the company with further questions.
