In Canada, Murzynki Wafers Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Omega Food Importers are recalling Murzynki brand wafers because they contain undeclared peanut, egg and almond, three of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those foods may have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product.

The recalled product is Murzynki wafers, sold in 415 gram packages with the code of L083. The UPC number is 5 908310 286365. The product was distributed at the retail level to Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to tree nuts, peanuts, and/or egg, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund. The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.
