In Canada, Onion Rings Recalled for Glass

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and McCain Foods Canada are recalling McCain Onion Rings because they may contain pieces of glass. The product was distributed nationally. No injuries have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is McCain Onion Rings in 397 gram packages. The Lot Code on the product begins with V40728. The Best Before Date is October 28, 2015. The UPC number isĀ 0 55773 00089 4. The company is also recalling all packages where the Lot Code and Best Before Date are not visible.
