In Canada, Ortega Taco Seasoning Mix Recall Updated

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and B.H. Kosher Select Food Distributors are updating the recall of Ortega Taco Seasoning Mix for undeclared peanuts and almonds. The original recall was issued on October 30, 2014 and updated on October 31, 2014. This update includes an additional lot code. No allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Ortega brand Taco Seasoning Mix in 35.4 gram containers. The codes on the product are Best by May 08 2016 S6 and Best by JUNE 26 2016. The UPC number isĀ 0 39000 00820 4. It was sold in Ontario and Quebec and may have been sold nationally.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts and/or almonds (tree nuts), do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
