In Canada, Palm Liver Spread Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Palm Liver Spread RecallThe Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling Palm brand Liver Spread because it was made with undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who has a sensitivity or allergy to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. No reports of allergic reactions have been received to date.

The recalled product is Palm brand Liver Spread in 227 gram (8 ounce) containers. It is a product of New Zealand. The UPC number is 6 35168 30083 1 and all codes where milk is not declared in the list of ingredients are recalled. The product was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and possibly sold nationally.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
