In Canada, Peppercorns Recalled for Possible Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection AGency (CFIA) is recalling several varieties of black peppercorns because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported in connection with these recalled products.

365 Peppercorns Salmonella RecallThe products are Frontier Organic Whole Black Peppercorns, and Whole Black Peppercorns Organic in two sizes. Simply Organic Black Peppercorns in various sizes are recalled, as well as 365 Everyday Value Black Peppercorns in various sizes sold at Whole Foods Market. The recall was triggered by a recall in the U.S. by Frontier Natural Products Co-op. If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase or discard in a sealed container.
