In Canada, Soft Candy Recalled for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Coffee Master are recalling Soft Candy because it contains egg, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any allergic reactions have been reported.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is Al-Karawan (Arabic characters only) Manna Wassalwa Soft Candy in 740 gram packages. The UPC number is 6  253501 380681. All codes where egg is not declared on the label are recalled. The candy was sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to egg, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
