In Canada, Update on Vegetarian Delite Recall

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Vegetarian Delite Bakery have updated the recall of various cookies and biscuits for undeclared milk and wheat. Several additional types of products have been added to the recall. There have been no reported allergic reactions associated with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products include Atta Biscuit, Amdawadi Plain Khari Biscuits, Amadawadi Jeera/Mari Khari Biscuits, Amdawadi Jeera Khari Biscuits, Nankhatai, Gur (Jaggery) Ginger Biscuits, Sooji Elaychi Rusk, Gur Thepla, and Uganda Toast. You can see all the package sizes, what allergen is in each product, and the UPC numbers at the CFIA web site. you can also see the pictures of the product labels at the CFIA site.

The products were sold in Alberta and British Columbia. If you purchased these products and are allergic to wheat and/or milk, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
