In Canada, White Pepper Powder Recalled for Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Clover Trading Company are recalling white pepper powder because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Flying Swallow White Pepper Powder in 55 gram containers. There are no codes on the product. The UPC number is 7 77244 00012 6. It was sold at the retail level in Alberta, British Columbia, and possibly nationally.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard in a sealed container or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
