J&B Sausage Recalls Chicken and Beef For Undeclared Peanuts

J&B Sausage Company is recalling 45,904 pounds of chicken and beef products for undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. The products contain Adams Flavors Cumin, which has been recalled for undeclared peanuts by the FDA. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatnieng reaction if they eat these products.

HEB Picadillo Recall Peanut AllergenThe recalled products include 5 pound packages of fully cooked “Chefs-In-A-Bag Chicken Taco Filling”, 1 pound packages of HEB “Fully Cooked Texas Style BEEF CHILI No Beans”, 1 pound packages of HEB “Fully Cooked Taqueria Style PICADILLO Seasoned Ground Beef with Potatoes, Onions, Tomatoes and Peppers” and 1 pound packages of HEB “Fully Cooked Carne Guisada Seasoned Beef in Gravy.”

They were shipped to HEB retail locations and the Garland Independent School District in Texas. They have the establishment number “EST. 7066” of “P-7066” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The recalled products have production dates between August 25, 2015 and December 15, 2014. You can see pictures of product labels at the USDA web site.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
