Kinnikinnick Foods Products Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Bread-crumbsKinnikinnick Foods is recalling products that have also been recalled in Canada, for the same problem: undeclared milk. The company is located in Alberta, Canada. Anyone with an allergy to milk could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. An ingredient used in the production of these products contained milk allergens.

The products being recalled are Kinnikinnick Original Homestyle Waffles in 7.4 ounce packages with UPC number 62013300198 1; Kinnikinnick Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Homestyle Waffles in 7.4 ounce packages with UPC number 62013300199 8; and Kinnikinnick Kinni-Kwisk Bread & Bun Mix in a 16 ounce cardboard box with UPC number 62013310550 4. Also recalled are Panko Style Bread Crumbs in a 12.5 ounce cardboard box, with UPC number 62013360015 3, and Pancake & Waffle Mix in a 16 ounce box with UPC number 62013310512 2. The products are gluten free. You can see the long list of lot dates for the recalled products at the FDA web site, and pictures of the recalled products as well.

The products are distributed across the country in retail stores and through direct shipments. If you are not allergic to milk, the products are safe to eat. There have been no reported illnesses associated with this recall. If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
