Lifecore Chocolates Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Ortho Molecular Products of Wisconsin is recalling all lots of LifeCore Chocolate and LifeCore Complete Chocolate because the flavoring may contain undeclared milk. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume these products. No adverse events or reactions have been reported to date.

Recall SignsThe recalled products were distributed nationwide to health care practitioners, who then distribute the products to their patients. Distribution has been suspended until further notice.

All LifeCore Chocolate and LifeCore Complete Chocolate products distributed through August 1, 2014 are recalled. The recalled products have lot numbers beginning with the following numbers: 73286, 73620, 74419, 75339, 73288, 73840, 74562, 75568, 73455, 73859, 74773, 75749, 73482, 73987, 74920, 75919, 73569, 74038, and 75309. The lot number and expiration date are on the neck of the bottle just above the label.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not consume them. Discard or contact your health care provider who sold you the product to discuss return or replacement.
