Mexican Cheddar Dip Recalled for Undeclared Eggs

Real Foods of Seattle is initiating recalling 96 units of “Mexican Cheddar Dip” product because it contains an undeclared allergen, eggs. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg should not eat this product as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. No adverse reactions or illnesses had been reported at the time of the recall.

mexican-dip-recallThe recalled product was soldat Quality Food Centers in 10 oz packages with the UPC numbers 0 30223 00952 8; or 0 30223 00968 9 and “sell by” dates  10/09/14; 10/10/14 and 10/11/14. No other products or code dates are affected by this recall.

The recalled product was manufactured between October 4  and October 6 and shipped between  October 5 and October 7 to a limited number of  Quality Food Center stores in Washington State in the following cities: Everett, Mill Creek, Sequim, Bothell, Port Townsend, Belfair, Lacy,  Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Stanwood and Port Hadlock.
