Monica Brand Snacks Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and OEY Trading Co. are recalling Monica brand snacks for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. People with an allergy or extreme sensitivity to milk could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. There is no word on whether any reactions have been reported.

Recall SignThe recalled products are Superior Quality Layer Snack Special Original Flavour in 410 gram packages. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 7 33894 22301 8. Also recalled is Superior Quality Layer Snack Chocolate Flavour in 410 gram packages. The UPC number is 7 33894 22306 3. They were sold in Ontario and Quebec.

If you are allergic to milk and purchased these products, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
