More Unpasteurized Cider Recalled for E. coli in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Osoleo Wildcrafters are recalling unpasteurized Cranberry-Apple Cider from the marketplace because it may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of these products, but there is an outbreak in Canada associated with another brand of raw apple cider.

The recalled products are Osoleo Wildcrafters Cranberry-Apple Cider Unpasteurized. The cider was sold in 1 liter and 2 liter containers. There is no code on the product and no UPC number. It was sold from October 10, 2014 to October 12, 2014, inclusively, at The Mustard Seed Cooperative Grocery at 460 York Boulevard in Hamilton, Ontario.

If you purchased this product in either size, do not drink it. Discard in a closed or sealed container so animals can’t get at it, or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
