One Lot of Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice Recalled For Punctured Packaging

One lot of Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice is being recalled because damaged packaging may have affected food quality. Mars Food North America is recalling one lot of the product- less than 3,500 cases, due to punctures in the pouch packaging which may affect food quality.

Ready Rice with a “best by” date of 12/14 MADE IN CANADA and a lot code 351GBBFPIL, 351GBBFPIR, 351GBBFP2L, 351GBBFP2R, 351GBBFP3L or 351GBBFPIR are the only products included in the recall. No other lot codes or other Uncle Ben’s products are included in the recall.

There have been no reports of illness in association with this product, however consumers who have purchased it should not eat it.  It can be returned to the store where it was purchased.uncle-ben's-recall
