Pickles Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Mustard

Super Asia Foods & Spices is recaling Mitchell’s pickles because they contain mustard, a food allergen, that is not declared on the label. No allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. They were sold nationally at the retail level.

The recalled products are all Mitchell’s brand. all codes where mustard is not declared on the label are recalled. All of the products are in 340 gram containers. They include Mixed in oil Hyderabadi Pickle with UPC number 6 67064 00084 3, Chilli & Lime Pickle in oil with UPC number  6 67064 00100 0, and Lime Pickle in oil with UPC number 6 67064 00063 8. You can see pictures of the recalled products at the CFIA web site.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to mustard, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
