Recall of Jack ‘N Jill Products for Undeclared Wheat Updated

The recall of Jack ‘N Jill products in Canada for undeclared wheat has been updated with new information. The original recall has been updated five times. Anyone with an allergy to wheat or a sensitivity to gluten, including celiac patients, could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date.

The newly recalled products are Jack ‘N Jill brand. All codes where wheat is not declared on the label are recalled. The products are Chicharron ni Mang Juan – Espesyal Suka’t Sili in 90 gram packages with UPC number 4 800016 110528 and Chicharron ni Mang Juan – Sukang Paombong in 90 gram packages with UPC number 4  800016 11051. They were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and have celiac disease or are allergic to wheat, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
