Recalls for Canada

There are two recalls for Canadian products today. The first is an updated recall warning of Reshing Trading imitation meat products because they contain egg, milk, and mustard that are not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to those ingredients should not consume these products.

The long list of recalled products, along with size, product codes, and UPC number can be found at the CFIA web site. You can also see photos of the recalled products at that site. They include Reshine and Chin Hsin products Vegetarian Hamslice, Vegetarian Stewed Pork Chops, Vegetarian Cuttie, Vegan Tempura, Vegetarian Chicken Rolls, Veggie Chicken Rolls, Vegan Chicken Nuggets, Vegan Gong Bao Chicken, and Vegan Chicken Strips.

The products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date. If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg, milk, and/or mustard, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

Vegan Chicken Rolls Recall

The second recall is for Master Kong brand Instant Noodles. That product is being recalled for undeclared milk. It was made by Kam Wah Resources Co. Ltd. and was sold in Ontario. The product is Master Kong (Chinese Characters only) Instant Noodles in 126 gram packages. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 6 937962 127732.

The product was sold in Ontario. If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
