Recalls in Canada for Coffee and Beef Gravy

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling two products for undeclared allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to these ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume them.

Recall SignageThe first is Select Food Products Beef Gravy, recalled for undeclared milk. The products are Select Beef Gravy in two sizes. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 0 63600 00502 8 for 1.32 liter containers, and 0 63600 00815 9 for 2.84 liter containers. They were sold nationally to hotel/restaurant, and institutional facilities. There is no word on whether any illnesses have been reported.

Also recalled is Rocky Roc Canada Trade product instant coffee, for undeclared milk. The product is Kopiko Astig 3 in One Instant Coffee in 20 gram containers. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 8 996001 410257. The product was sold in British Columbia at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not consume them. Return to the place of purchase for a refund or discard.
