Twix Bites Recalled for Undeclared Peanuts and Eggs

Mars Chocolate North America is recalling TWIX Unwrapped Bites because they may contain peanuts and eggs that are not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or eggs could have serious reactions if they consume this product. No adverse reactions have been reported to date.

Twix RecallThe TWIX Brand Unwrapped Bites are in 7 ounce Stand Up Pouches that are metallized-golden in color with the code date 421BA4GA60. The expiration date is 03/2015 stamped on the back. Fewer than 25 cases are affected by this recall. The recall was issued after a consumer notified the company that they found peanuts in the product. The product was shipped to distributors in Indiana, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, and Connectiut, then redistributed nationwide.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts and/or nuts, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
