Wei-Chuan Recalls Pork Mini Buns for Undeclared Allergens

Wei-Chuan USA of California is recalling 332 pounds of Pork Mini Buns Crab Meat Added for undeclared fish, shellfish, and eggs. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to those foods could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No reports of adverse reactions have been received to date.

The product was made with fish, shellfish, and egg, but released with a label for Mini Pork Buns that does not declared those ingredients. The product subject to recall is 20-ounce bags of “Pork Mini Buns”. They were made on June 3, 2014 and have the product code “DF03A” printed on the bag. The product has the establishment number “Est. 9034” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were sold to retail establishments in California.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to fish, shellfish, and/or eggs, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase or discard.
