Best Foods is recalling Deer brand cumin powder in two sizes for undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a life-threatening reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Some of the 7 ounce packages are marked with UPC numberĀ 714760027497 and some of the 14 ounce packages are marked with UPC numberĀ 714760027503. The cumin is packaged in clear and yellow plastic. They were distributed in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia.
