Chicken Breast Fritters Recalled for Undeclared Eggs

Primecut Meats of Arizona is recalling about 17,700 pounds of chicken breast fritters products because they contain eggs, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to eggs could have a life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No reports of illnesses have been received to date.

Prime Poultry Chicken Fritters RecallThe recalled item is 4 pound boxes of “Prime Poultry Chicken Breast Fritters”. They were produced on various dates before January 23, 2015. They have the establishment number “P-27220” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Arizona and Colorado.

The problem was discovered during FSIS in-plant verification. If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
